Photoshop Elements 18-Layout-"All Floating" option is greyed out About 3 weeks ago when I tried to select the option under "Layout" for "all floating", when opening multiple files/photos, the"All Floating" option is greyed out and can't be selected. All other options are available: Columns and Rows, Rows and column, All Grid, All Column, and Default. Also, There is no way to minimize them on the workspace to then open them from the Photobin. The entire workspace is covered by the layouts of all photos. Any ideas?

There are a couple of problems with this workaround. 1. If you have photos that are already opened and then open new photos, when you switch to "all floating" it also floats the already opened photos and makes them and mixes them in with the new as well. Then you have to rearrange the photos to move the previous photos where they were. The only way to avoid this is minimizing the opened photos before you open new ones. This leads to the next problem. 2. When the new photos are floating, if you have more than 4 photos opened and floating, they cover the lower editing bar which means you then have to rearrange the photos to uncover the lower editing bar. So, this means more time to rearrange photos on the screen that wasn't needed before. Does anyone know how to keep the photos just in the work screen so they don't cover the editing bar?

Yes, that's correct. Everything worked fine immediately before I did the Windows 10 update a couple of days ago and this started immediately after.

Thanks Michel. I tried the fix with the Registry but it didn't work. Looks like that was for Organizer and not Photoshop. I didn't find a similar path for Photoshop.

I just did an update to Windows 10 and now when I open files in PS Elements 2018 Editor, all the photos open postage stamp sized in the upper left corner of the screen outside the workspace. Previously they would open regular sized in the work space, stacked on top of each other. When I try to organize the layout to floating they cover up the bottom tool bar, so I have to rearrange them manually in the workspace. Any suggestions?
