Dear Adobe, I have a question regarding the latest support of Adobe Reader on Windows 2008 Standard. On our Nessus scan we have a "critical" call regarding the Adobe Reader version that is currently installed (11.0.10.0). _________________________________________________________ Name (Nessus): Adobe Reader Unsupported Version Detection Synopsis: The remote host contains an unsupported version of Adobe Reader. Description: According to its self-reported version, the installation of Adobe Reader on the remote Windows host is no longer supported. Lack of support implies that no new security patches for the product will be released by the vendor. As a result, it is likely to contain security vulnerabilities. Solution: Upgrade to a version of Adobe Reader that is currently supported. _________________________________________________________ Could please inform me, if this indeed the latest version that is supported by Adobe. And this version is safe for further current use? We are currently in the situation that we have software that is depending on Adobe Reader and therefor we can't uninstall this Reader version.
