I fully understand your analogy, but I would point out that Serif Page Plus X9 has not changed in a couple of years and in fact as I understand is no longer sold by Serif. I have been using the product for several years, always attaching password protected documents converted within Serif via: because of the logo similarity: I assumed when the Serif Page Plus product was first created some agreement had been reached with Adobe. More relevant - it is only since the recent Adobe update that the 'Encrypted Attachment Warning' has started to appear on all emails where I include a password protected .pdf document created in Serif Page Plus, this has never been the case in the past and I would greatly appreciate some help in overcoming the problem without resorting to open content, i.e. no password protection.
