Although I have used newer versions of Dreamweaver that are subscription based, I have canceled that service and for a long established client, used the software I had long ago created the site with. That was Dreamweaver MX 2004. I have never had any issues UNTIL roughly two weeks ago. I can no longer upload files to the server. I checked with the hosting company and there were no changes made on their side. I tested it for my own site which is hosted elsewhere and I am running into the same error message. Do you think something corrupted in my Dreamweaver software and I have to reinstall it? Or do you think somehow it interfaces with something that would have been on the Macromedia site (even though to my knowledge this all ran off my computer)? Or do I need to bite the bullet and "rent" the subscription service for Dreamweaver Cloud version? I was trying to avoid passing this cost onto the client or having this monthly expense myself. Thanks!
