Hello everyone! I'm trying to figure out why this keeps happening. When I try to scale/rotate images or drawings, they become jagged. Hello everyone! Recently, I had a weird problem with Illustrator. The overall shape I'm working on is a compound path, but I don't know what this white thing showing above the path of the shape is. I tried to select it, but according to the program, it is not a shape. Oh and I am aware that the magnification was above 300%, however, I was wondering if there were brushes that have been made by using a very high-res source image, which would make the loss of quality unnoticeable even at very strong magnification like in my example.

Yes, I'm speaking about the brush tip. So I'm talking about the original source image that has been used to create the specific brush itself. Is there a specific limit in photoshop that doesn't allow the resolution of the source image to be higher than a specific number? I'm wondering about this because in other software that I'm using like Medibang you have the option to create a brush from a canvas. Let's say your canvas size is: 1920 x 1080 and you want to create a brush with a cloud shape. You have already drawn the cloud and now you choose the option to create the brush from the canvas. But the dimensions for your brush "base" will be 150x150 because that's the default setting in Medibang and you are limited, and unable to create a brush which is higher than this resolution.

Hey Everyone! I was wondering about something and I couldn't find information about it either. I will be really thankful if someone can answer my newbie question! Are all textured brushes used in Photoshop and painting software like Krita, Medibang, etc. low resolution or it depends on the type of texture? I have been unable to find any textured brushes that are high in resolution. All seem to be pretty low in quality. Thanks in advance!

Recently I was researching about free fonts licenses. And I was curious about some questions to which I couldn't find an answer. Here are the questions: Usually, when a free font license says that the font is free for commercial use, does that also include using this specific font in a client's project? How can you make sure that you as a designer won't have legal problems when using a certain font? Let's say you have downloaded a free font and in the license, it says that you can use this font for commercial use. My question is for how many clients can you make designs that have used this font? Just a really quick question. I am currently working with a client on their second logo for their second business and was wondering if I am supposed to treat projects like that differently or not. Basically, my question is this: If you have a client with two completely separate businesses and they want 2 logos (one for each) should you somehow relate the logos to one another or something like that, or should you simply treat the two logos as if they are for 2 separate clients? I can't read German, and to be fair I went a little unprepared with my client, so I was wondering if the following is an acceptable practice. Do you think it would be okay to simply send my client an AI file, and from there, they just have to go to their printer, explain what they need and the printer can export a proper PDF according to their requirements?

I would really appreciate if someone can explain to me these issues and actually help me understand them. Here are my questions: 1. I tried to look for a Pantone color replacement for Rich Black (C -35 M -35 Y - 35 K - 100), but I couldn’t find any. In my designs, I usually use mainly this type of black, but recently my client requested using Pantone colors. I have looked at the other Pantone Blacks but none of them seem close enough to the Rich Black I'm using. 2. Why when I try to change rich black (C - 35 M - 35 Y - 35 K - 100) in Pantone solid coated the color retains its CMYK values and doesn't turn into Pantone. Other colors like: C - 80 M - 10 Y - 45 K - 0 have immediate alternative value in Pantone color 777 23 C? 3. Let's say we have 2 PDF files with the same logo. The first PDF is in CMYK mode and the colors of the design are in CMYK as well. The second PDF is also in CMYK mode, but the design itself is made using Pantone colors. My question is about the second PDF. Are the Pantone colors used in the second PDF really Pantone if the color mode of the PDF is CMYK? Color swatches show that the colors are Pantone. 4. Can you print a design using both CMYK and Pantone colors at the same time? If yes, how would you go about doing that and what is the process as a whole. How would you even go about preparing and setting the settings for a PDF that was meant to be used in this way? Can you recommend any software for exporting multiple files at the same time, like: PDF, PNG, SVG, etc.

Hello! I have a question regarding printing CMYK White. What color values you should use for a better result? For example: C - 0 M - 0 Y - 0 K - 0 or C-0 M - 0 Y - 0 K - 5 I know for example that when you have to print CMYK Black there are many other combinations like Rich Black or Warm Black and many others. Yeah, I was talking about the last option. The original is the way I aligned it at first, while the text wasn't turned into objects. The client said that it seemed off and requested me to align it better visually, that's why I created the other version "visually even"

Hi Everyone and thank you for taking the time to try to help me! My problem is related to text alignment. I am currently making a logo for a client in the health and fitness industry and I can't seem to properly align the text in their logo for some reason. First I tried to use illustrator's alignment option on the font I used, but due to the kerning or something else, the automatic alignment looked really off. Next, I turned the words into objects and tried using the same alignment options and the words looked a lot more aligned, however, when I check the spacing I find that there is a 4-pixel distance from one side and more than 10 pixels on the other side, making it uneven.
