It would seem that after I delete all of the old formats out of a document, including paragraph, character, and table formats, that I do not have a fully corrected version of the FM file after importing the new template. How can I ensure that all of the old formats are replaced by the new format? Is there a clean way to apply a new template without copying and pasting the old content into a new file with the correct formats? Secondly, how can I make the default bullet building block larger as in a larger dot? Oh, I'm using FM 17 - still not sure about moving to FM 19. Thanks

I'm having a lot of trouble gettig my HTML (FM2017) to display correctly on mobile phones. The content won't resize on a real phone vs. an emuiator. Are there other skins available somewhere? I haven't moved to 2019 because when I create a PDF, my images are black. I can't figure out why this happens. Any help would be appreciated it. Thanks!

I'd like to try out different skins but I've already customized a settings file as Settings-3. If I click New and change the skin, FM returns message "all changes to the responsive layout will be lost". But if I save it with a different file name, will I be able to switch between settings files to generate HTML?

I'm using FM 2017 - I found an underlying issue with tables (I use them for info, caution, warning, etc) and if you convert the FM file where these all appear together (preface), it's fine no problem with images. Convert the book and again, tiny images in the tables.

I use autonumbering paragraph format for repeated text such as a command prompt "CLI (admin@leaf1)>" but when converting to HTML the autonumber doesn't appear in output. It only displays what comes after the autonumber text. So CLI (admin@leaf1)>switch-setup-show displays as switch-setup-show without the command prompt text. Also, importing images from the reference page works for some of the images but not all. One appears so small it looks like a dot not the image. Any ideas?

Also, using the publish function to save as PDF is not user-friendly. I do not want to change the location every time I want to generate a PDF. Why was this changed? Previously, you simply selected the directory to save the file as a PDF. Now it's a hassle.

Test driving the new version of FM and am happy to see that the colored icons are back. Tried printing to PDF and my white logos turned black in the output. However, saving as PDF works just fine. Any thoughts?

I want to change the default level of bookmarks to None instead of default, but no can do, it simply goes back to default. I want to see if this setting helps the display issue with PDFs in a Web browser. The PDF looks perfectly find in Acrobat (all bookmarks closed) but on the Web page every bookmark is open and it looks messy. Any thoughts?

The browser that will not resize content is Firefox on Windows 10. All other browser will resize the content.

The culprit is RGB vs CYMK, IMO. When you save as PDF, be sure CYMK is selected. For some reason, RGB seems to be the default.

Yes, did all that, but not rollback. Save as PDF works just fine after I followed the instructions in the last post. What is very strange is under PDF Setup, there is no option to select RGB or CYMK. As long as I can save as PDF, I'm good to go. Thanks,

I did discover that I had duplicate paragraph formats so deleted the offending paragraph format. However, the text after the command prompt is Times New Roman instead of Courier New, but I figured it out. I need to fix some inconsistencies in the doc by making sure Command-Prompt instead of command-prompt is used. Thanks for your help!

I use a paragraph format (command-prompt) for our CLI-based product. It uses auto-numbering CLI<network-admin@Leaf2> as the format so I don't have to type this in throughout the documentation. However, this paragraph format doesn't get picked up during the conversion. Do I format this as numbering and use upper-roman or upper-alpha to map the style? Thanks

I finally figured out how to get the reference images displayed in the generated HTML5 output. (There's a checkbox on the Images settings dialogue box.) However, they're displayed inconsistently: some are correctly displayed and some are tiny dots. Did I miss another setting for this?

It's set to Default. None of the other settings have any effect on the HTML generation when you change them.
