Hello. I am working on a 200+ page manual in InDesign. There are 12 sections. The first 8 sections must start with 1-, 2-, 3-, etc. The page numbers in section 1 should be 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, the page numbers in section 2 should be 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, etc. The last sections start A-1, A-2, A-3 and so on. I have a TOC, however, I must be doing something wrong with page numbering as my TOC has not updated correctly. For example, section 1 is like this in the TOC: 1.1 General 1 1.2 Notes 1 1.3 References 1 1.4 Safety 2 1.5 Information 2 1.6 Publications 4 1.1 through 1.3 should be page 1-1 1.4 and 1.5 should be 1-2 1.6 should be 1-4 my page panel for section 1 looks like this, starting on the right page, master page B, page number 1-1.
