Hi, Thanks for reporting the issue. We are able to reproduce the problem with application version number not being remembered by Adobe Flash CC and we are further investigating it. However, when we correct the application version and repackage the application we are not seeing any error as you mentioned. Could you please share more details regarding this error and the app.xml that is generated. Regards, Adobe AIR Team

Hello, Could you please try out the issues after changing <autoOrients> tag in application.xml to "true", this should resolve the issue, soft-keyboard coming up from wrong side of screen. However, we are unable to observe any issue with application orientation not working on iOS 9. Kindly, provide us a sample application with which we can reproduce this issue at our end. Hi, Thanks for reporting the issue. We tried reproducing the problem at our end with the given code snippet but couldn't reproduce it, CameraUI is launched successfully and application behave fine. We verified it on iPhone 6 (8.0) and iPhone 5s(8.4.1) both. so could you please share us the sample application that can reproduce the problem. Regards, Adobe AIR Team

Hi, Thanks for reporting the issue. We verified this at our end but could not reproduce the problem, Auto-Orientation of landscape application is working fine. I could rotate my application in both Rotated-left and Rotated-right position when AO is true on iPhone 6 plus. Also verified with other AO and AR combinations but could not reproduce the issue. Hi Mike, Thanks for reporting the issue. However, we are not seeing any flicker on playing video using video texture. You might be experiencing bit delay in video start up time but that is dependent on the device configuration. Hi Thanks for reporting the issue. We looked at the issue and found that the code snippet shared above is exactly similar to the code shared by you for another video texture issue where video is not playable. My video is black when using Videotexture and Pseudo Streaming on Android So, we are not able to reproduce the problem because of that bug. Also, Could you please confirm if the video stop playing completely or it restarts from beginning after device is rotated ? Thanks Adobe AIR Team

Thanks for detailed step, We tried the issue but couldn't reproduce it on any device. we could successfully see the "finished" text. However, we tested issue with our own zip file as zip provided by you was not downloading ( kept the device for more than 1 hour but nothing happened). Could you please verify it on some other devices (if you have), also is this issue reproducible with that particular zip file or happening with other zip files ?

Hi, Thanks for reporting the issue, we package the ipa using provided swf and xml file but on launching application on different device including iPhone 4s. we can see only a button named "Click". but nothing happens on clicking it, application doesn't crash. Could you please elaborate the reproducible steps. Also, we tried with sample project shared but on compiling it, we get a error "type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: signal". Could you please help us answer following queries with your application. - If you change the device position from portrait to landscape and then click on text field, does problem get solved ? do you see landscape keyboard ? - Do you observe same behaviour when you change AutoOrient to true ? Also i believe you are facing these problems in iPhone iOS 8 devices and not on iPad ? Moreover, the orientation of the gallery will remain in vertical position as its the desired change introduced in iOS8.

Hi, We fixed this issue long back and it's working fine at our end. Could you please try it once again after updating your iOS to 8.3 as we also re-encountered this issue on iOS 8.2. but after updating it to iOS 8.3 it worked again. Thanks for sharing the project. We verified the issue with project provided above but we are getting a white screen on launching application on iOS device, Could you please confirm if this project is working at your end. Also, I have attaching working sample swf and xml file here Dropbox - Geolocation.zip‌‌. it will be helpful if you could verify it on your device and let us know you findings. To verify, Just package IPA using swf and xml and install on device. Launch application and press button 1, you could see the updates in longitude and latitude values as you move device around. Hi Colin, Sorry for the confusion here, it's not that Default-Landscape@2x.png doesn't exists. The blog depicts one of the possible combination that developers can use to have a proper working application considering orientation of device. if someone wish to include only Default-Landscape@2x.png instead of orientation specific images like Default-LandscapeLeft.png and Default-LandscapeRight.png then it can be done.
