System info says windows 10. Honestly, I can't remember where it stated windows 8. I tried so many things from the forum last night. I'll keep looking. When I said updated I just meant that I did a windows update. I have already run this program on windows 10 I show my path is: Hopefully I did that right. went to folder Shift right click copy path and then paste correct? "D:\king pics" my D drive is internal Batch import was 3/1/2020 before I did my update Tried opening a file in editor cropped the picture went to save as but it will not allow me to click on the "save in version set" button Thanks for troubleshooting this with me! I have elements 18 and been using it since it came out. Everything has been fine. Tonight I try to import photos from my D drive and it says that they are imported but they dont show up anywhere in organizer. The total number of photos in the catalog doesn't change after it states that they are imported. I have tried the hidden file thing, sort by newest, alt, ctrl, shift when starting, updating my computer, restarting it, removing the media analysis. One thing that I did notice is that it states my OS is windows 8 when actually I have windows 10. Please help as I am trying to edit recently taking family pictures. Thanks Debbie

Had photos on "d" drive....have created a new catalog, added photos to catalog, managed catalog to external drive, backed up.catalog to another external drive, deleted photos from d drive... Need help: when i plugged the 1st external in and restore catalog it tells me that i need to reconnect all photos. Is that true? Also all the face recognition that i did didnt come with the catalog...is that true? I did import my tags but the are not by category. Is the right? Also catalog didnt backup to the 2nd external hard Should i just give up? Please help

had elements 11 102,000 photos tagged and stored. Computer crashed. Took it to have fixed.....pictures wiped off. Got pissed uploaded all pictures to Shutterfly hated it!!!!!! Bought elements 18 installed.... copying all pictures from Shutterfly into my "D" Drive. trying to re-tag and organize. Buying a 4tb external hard drive....... If I move my pictures from the "D" drive to the HD am I going to have to "re-connect" all of those pictures? Also, I know that I have duplicate photos everywhere. If the photo has an image no starting with "B" does that mean that it is a duplicate. Please help..... I just ALL of my photos in one place so that I can start re-tagging. Ready to start from scratch! but really don't know how.

Do I all of my photos on an external drive and then import a few at a time onto photoshop? I can't have all of my photos loaded onto my computer. Also I have a trial of photoshop on my computer. Why does it make it run so slow? Is this normal? Thanks Debbie
