My mistake sorry. I should have asked if the program could search all files for 'photo files' on all drives & perhaps it might pick up & assign the missing tags for for people events. Is this possible?

If I created a new folder for the library & then told the program to get its data from the original library would that help? Is it possible to set the program to search all drives,or selected drives to look for music files? Thanks in advance

Great. I now have the names appearing under the thumbnails. I can see thumbnails if I click media or places but can see the thumbnails, but if I click people or events, I see none. There had been tags for people & events as well. In fact if I click on the scroll down tab for tags I can see listings for birthdays, weddings etc. That's strange but at least we are moving in the right direction. Perhaps I should re install PSE? What do you think?

As I said I am getting the date taken displayed below each thumbnail. It appears that the true file name is still exists but isn't being displayed. If I search in Windows Explorer I can find a photo that I want, by using the file name. If I enter the same name in PSE 11 I get the same photo displayed but the name isn't displayed beneath the thumbnail, only the date taken appears. So the file name still appears to exist but PSE isn't seeing or displaying it even though it can find it. I'm guessing that it's a Windows 10 problem. Maybe the same problem accounts for the fact that no tags against each thumbnail even though they can be scrolled down in the tags list. What do you think & how do I fix this?

At the moment the library isn't displaying either the file name or the tags that had previously been there. Where can I find those 15 types of dates & where can I use them? Can they be displayed in Windows Explorer?

Windows does terrible things with the dates photos were taken & decides that date transferred to PC should be that date rather then when it was actually taken. This is nonsense. If you copy photo to another drive it seems to do the same thing again. How can you stop this & ALWAYS HAVE DATE TAKEN as per EXif Data?

My PSE 11 version is 32bit. It is still working on the latest 64 BIT Windows 10. Could I,should I move to the 64 bit version & how is this done? Thanks in advance

The Windows 10 update appear to have created chaos on my files. When I clicked on the PSE 11 icon to open catalog it could not be found.. I used a file sorting/location program 'Everything" to locate all of my pictures & it gave me the route them. Alternatively I can click on any one picture & it displays in Windows. When I try to point PSE 11 to them It still isn't seeing them. Is there any function from with in PSE or some other way to have some or all nominated drives/files to seek out jpegs etc?

Several years back I upgraded my Photoshop Elements version. Something went radically wrong. The old catalog had every picture in it with tags for people,places & events as well as a a description under it. The pictures were files in a Photo folder that had sub folders so I had it in a tree like structure. When I upgraded to version 11 all of my tags for people were found but none for places or events. Since then the only time that has happened with my broken catalog was that I added newer photos. I have now come across an old DVD back up from a few years back that I had forgotten about. This disk would predate that upgrade. What would be the best way to use this old catalog as the bases of a new catalog which would incorporate all of my pictures? I currently have version 11 & I'm running Windows 10

I bought a new tv which came with a very small manual A5 size which is very difficult to read. I would like to import the PDF which is is 24 pages long. I want to print the manual as 24 A4 size double sided pages. How do I do this?
