Seems almost silly to ask but I have a simple animation with a loop.  Frame 1  (0) code: var _this = this; _this.stop(); var _this = this; _this.IndexNext1.on('click', function(){ _this.gotoAndPlay('Indx1'); }); This works.  On frame 100, if I use this code, it doesn't work: var _this = this; _this.gotoAndPlay('indx1'); However, if I send it to a different frame with this code, it works: var _this = this; _this.gotoAndPlay('repeat1');   I figure I'm missing a basic concept here, but I don't know what it is.  Is there a better way to move the playhead to a labeled frame?   Thanks!   ... Hi All,   I've been using the Save for Web feature in Illustrator for a long time.  In the latest couble of versions, they call this function "legacy," which implies that it isn't long for the world, so I'm asking this question in preparation for that DREADED day.   I create line art, wiring diagrams, or the like, and export them as .png files to use in PowerPoint.  I've found that for our corporate slide design that if the max horizontal that works is about 1100 pixels and the max vertical is about 650 pixels.  These dimensions are easy to comply with if I use Save for Web (legacy).  I'm a keyboard shortcut freak, so Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S.   I tried using the export for screen function and it doesn't give me nearly the accuracy I can obtain with Save for Web.  There is a scale function, but it's 2x, 3x, etc.  All fine and dandy, but I have to set my artbords up in inches because these images are also used for print.  I don't want to have to do the math every time I export an image for PowerPoint.  6.5x72= 468  and 1100/468 = 2.38, so I'll make the art 3x and downsize it.....   You get the idea.  If anyone has an easier way to do this, I'm all ears!  Thanks in advance! ... I have a 1440x1080 video I'm trying to embed in a PDF.  Perhaps that's the problem??  Anyway, I set it to play in a separate window and then set the size to 1440x1080.  When I play it back, I see about a quarter of the movie image.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?   Thanks! ... Just when I think I have it figured out . . . . The attached is a very simple animation with a single movieclip and four buttons.  So there are four event listeners calling four functions telling the movie to play at a certain spot.  To make sure learners play it sequentially, only the button they should play next is on the stage.  The first button knows it's a button but doesn't perform the assigned command.  I'm hoping somebody can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Hi all,   First, let me state that I am barely above beginner status.  I used the hunt and peck method to put together some fairly complex flash animations and I'd now like to convert them to html 5.  This is part 1 of my education I guess. I started the animation by stopping on frame 1 and making the alpha of some objects 0.  Can I still do this in Javascript?  I hunted around the web for help and it looked like the following code would work (FYI all of these things are "objects" in actionscript.) this.stop(); this.rightStalk.alpha=.0; this.leftStalk.alpha=.0; this.hazard.alpha=.0; this.brake.alpha=.0; this.leftSense.alpha=.0; this.rightSense.alpha=.0; Is this code correct or is there some other command I have to execute to get alpha to work?   Thanks!   ...
