Thanks Saurav. Due to the similar social media features (ability to post, comment, like, etc.) in both the ColdFusion "See what's possible" page and the ColdFusion Community Support page, anything to more tightly integrate the two into one would clarify things to the newbie. The See What's Possible page could link to the Community Page in Adobe's forums without taking away from its goal to see what's possible. Currently, the header button titled "Why join the community" in the "See What's Possible" page does not go to the community page, but rather an explanation of levels. Adding a Community description here would be valuable. Also, I don't know if replies, comments, posts, etc count towards a users points on both of these pages/forums, but if they did that would help unify and streamline the pages.

Yes! Thank you BKBK and Jamo. Our tests using wkhtmlToPDF are producing similar positive results. We are moving in this direction. Thanks again!

Hello, I see that there are two places to post ColdFusion questions on Adobe sites: right here at community.adobe.com and over at https://coldfusion.adobe.com, so long as you characterize your post as a question. This support community site seems like the logical place to get questions answered by the community, and so when you post a question over at https://coldfusion.adobe.com/ site, to whom are these questions posted? Adobe's ColdFusion employees? Perhaps links on each of these pages to each other should be established so that community members are aware of and leverage both options. Thanks.

Hello, We want to improve the performance of the CFDocument tag. We are generating 6000 pdf pages using cfdocument by looping through a text file, formatting it and creating it using cfdocument tag. We are on CF 2018 Update 5. Regardless of how much RAM and CPU we are throwing at CF, we cannot seem to convice CF that that RAM/CPU is eligible for use for this process. Whether the server has 16 GB RAM or 256 GB, the PMT shows that there is no differnce in the perfomance, and the amount of time it takes to finish processing doesn't seem to depend on either RAM or CPU. Should we be looking elsewhere (I/O) to speed this up, or is CFDocument simply the "little engine that could"? We have been updating JVM heap sizes for minim and maximum and increased MaxMetaSpaceSize. At this time, there are no competing threads on this test server - just the CFDocument process. Please let us know if there are any other settings or resources or other things to look for to increase the performance and generate the pdf faster. If not, we have found an alternative solution, but would prefer to learn more as to whether CFDocument processing can be improved. Thanks in advance. The sample code below simply writes "hello world" to a pdf. With 16GB RAM and 6 processors, it's taking 30 seconds to write 100 pages to a pdf document. We are looking for a solution to drop this down to a fraction of the time.

Hi. I've been looking at the ColdFusion feature list and under Email Management, I read "Attach a callback handler to the CFMAIL tag to get delivery notifications." Can anyone provide a link to an example of what this looks like? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dave and Carl. I changed it to Developer and restarted the server and it worked. Incidentally, I went back into the properties file and noticed that the line read "sn=". In other words, the "Developer" value was removed.

I installed a Standard License number to my Development environment to test out features. Now that I've done this, how do I revert back to Developer Edition?

DW doesn't give the the same issues as CFB, but that's most likely because it doesn't try. It's not aware of my variable names, and so it doesn't attempt to populate an autosuggest when using tags. And since DW doesn't even recognize cfscript, I've got no problems at all there! Thanks for your reply.

Hello, This situation affects a ColdFusion Project that is located on a network drive. It doesn't matter if I create a Default Linked Folder or not during the setup process. This problem does not seem to occur with other types of setups, including local file locations, or even other projects located on the network.* In this scenario, on two separate installs using 64 bit Windows 10 with CF Builder 2016 Build 302777, CFB hangs for a minimum of 15 seconds as it tries to populate the "suggestion drop down" after entering essentially any code that ColdFusion Builder thinks it can help me with. It happens after typing variables. application. session. <cfset (in many cases) <cfset variables. <cfset application. <cfset session. This "ColdFusion Project" has about 100 files in it. (It's a Mura plugin.) I can get around this issue if I copy the entire project folder to my local drive, but that workaround doesn't seem realistic or ideal. Is this how CF Projects are to be set up in CFB? This issue occurs even after I close all other panes in the perspective. And it occurs with or without errors in my code that CFB marks with an X. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. *I don't code much in ColdFusion Builder (I'd like to change that) and so I cannot tell for sure just how pervasive this issue is.

Hello, I was also having this error after applying the update. Applying Update 14 manually resolved the issue for us.
