Strange... whenever I press "I" (Uppercase "i") in code view (and only in code view) the clipboards content will be inserted. I've checked the shortcut settings and went back to factory defaults – without success. How can that be...?

Nancy OSheaShowing hidden files is an OS thing, not a DW thing. ... and the applications should respect the OS-settings (—both macOS and Windows don't show as "invisible" marked files in their file managers). I believe the reason why DW does not do this has to do with its cross-platform layer that's not so 100 % Mac-compatible. I mean to remember that DW for Windows does not show invisible files... am I right? Apart from that it seems to be "Best practice" for Web-Editors/IDEs to hide invisible files per default. For good reason, IMO.

Nancy, that's an acceptable work-around – thanks for your support. Nevertheless I think, that DW should not show hidden files per default. So I've made a feature request (IMHO more a bug fix request) at uservoice.com.

I would expect these key combos to "Duplicate" (Cmd+D) and "Delete" (Cmd+Y) a line of code. (Ctrl+D/Y on Windows?) And I mean to remember that this worked in DW Beta. But now... nothing.

These shortcuts (default key set) just do nothing in DW 2017.0.1/Mac with German localisation. Am I really the only who experiences this? (Wondering why nobody has filed a bug report about this before...)

The keyboard shortcuts "Duplicate" (Cmd+D) and "Delete" (Cmd+Y) don't work in Code view, only in Design view of DW 2017/Mac. Any ideas? The shortcuts are not assigned to another command. And I'm quite shure that both key combos worked fine in DW Beta.

Apples and oranges mixed together can make a nice shake (I believe... never tried it... maybe today.) It's not untypical that interface designers like me create icons and other simple graphics in Illustrator and import them in PhotoShop, where they become part of a more complex composition. But, however: Here PhotoShop does not accept copy & paste from Illustrator any more, what it did for many years before. Because this still works with Affinity Photo, I guess PhotoShop is the culprit.

Hm... I'm more the "easygoing" type In my case we are talking about (mostly simple) icons for interface-design. So in my opinion copy & paste would probably be the obvious and most effective way.

No matter whatever I try to copy from Illustrator 20.1.0 to PhotoShop 2015.5.1 via clipboard, I get the error message (translated) "The PostScript file is empty or invalid and cannot be placed". Importing as an AI file works fine. Any ideas? Thanks, Tom
