It looks as though Microsoft just pushed out a patch for this in Windows 10. If you force Windows 10 to check for updates, you should be able to get that now. See post by Chris Campbell here for more details: Re: Flash Player 20.0.0.267 - ActiveX Embedding Issue

Excellent news for Windows 10 customers! Initial testing on my end shows that this update indeed fixes the problem were were seeing. Thank you thank you thank you!!! Don't know if this really matters, but navigating to Flash Player Help in IE reveals the following minor inconsistency: Congratulations, your computer has the latest Flash Player beta version installed. ( Your version20.0.0.272 Latest Version20.0.0.270 ) Is this really a 'beta' version???

m_vargas‌ -- we have thousands of customers who have been impacted by this bug and it simply is not feasible to ask them to uninstall that update. Furthermore, it is not exactly 'easy' to do this under Windows 10, especially given that many of these customers are novice computer users. Any ETA as to when Adobe/Microsoft will push out a fix? We REALLY need this!

Chris -- thanks for the update. I indeed hope that this is the highest priority for both Adobe and Microsoft as we have thousands of customers currently impacted and this has gone on now for nearly a week! The sooner the better on pushing a fix.

Thank you @m_vargas for that download link. I was able to successfully uninstall 20.0.0.270 and replace it with 20.0.0.267, but I was unable to verify the issue being reported by our customers. In fact, further testing has shown that our issue (a crash) only happens under Windows 10. Is anybody else reporting crashes tied to 20.0.0.267 only under Windows 10? I ask because I want to have some measure of confidence that the pending 20.0.0.270 update (when deployed by Microsoft for Windows 10) will indeed fix our issue. Any insights are appreciated.

I'm trying to verify on a Windows 7 machine that the 20.0.0.270 fix resolves our issue. Only problem is that the update to 20.0.0.270 was automatically pushed to the machine prior to verifying that things were broken! How can I revert back to 20.0.0.267 in order to do proper before/after testing of this issue? Ideally I want to see things broken using 20.0.0.267 and then working properly under 20.0.0.270.
