It will be copied to your project: For changing the Caption text, you'll need to navigate to the Output tab > Labels. Select the Frameless section and scroll down to the HomePageSubtitle listing and change the text accordingly. (My example adds the word "today".) The quick suggestion is to use YouTube's excellent (free) service to host your video clips. Your RoboHelp authoring tool makes it easy to insert YouTube streaming video clips into your projects. If that is not possible, here are some tips and things to think about: I'm not aware of any video file-specific requirements for RoboHelp Server to deliver .mp4 files. Observe best practices for encoding your video files (even more important than individual file size.) In particular the bitrate, frame rate and resolution used.  You asked if RoboHelp Server provides "streaming capability".  The term "streaming" is often misunderstood. A true streaming server would use the rtsp://  (Real Time Streaming Protocol) and requires a more expensive network infrastructure. It's unlikely you would need rtsp. (RoboHelp Server does not use the rtsp protocol.) The vast majority of knowledge base or help system projects are delivered to hundreds or perhaps a few thousand simultaneous visitors behind a firewall and are not public facing. Certainly you would want a decent powered web host (in-house or commercially-hosted)  I highly recommend looking at Adobe Media Encoder to optimize your videos. If you have the Adobe Technical Communication Suite, you automatically have Adobe Captivate and the excellent Adobe Media Encoder available for free. If you want to dig deeper with more options, take a look at the following.  Normally there is a "topic.css" for styling content in your Online topics. That same style sheet can be used for your PDF, or changed and substituted by using Master Pages and a new workflow for customizing PDFs. This new workflow involves editing the "book.css" supplied with the Rh 2020 version, or your own custom .css. You then "attach" or associate the customized PDF .css with a Master Page and then specify which Master Page to use for different parts of your output (referred to as Front Matter and Back Matter.)  Peter Grainge has some good best practice tips here: https://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh_tour/rh2020/outputs/outputs_pdf.htm  In particular, scroll down to the "NOTE: Adobe RoboHelp ships with a Book master page that is linked to book.css. The styles in that css control the appearance of the TOC, the Index and the Glossary. If you want to use master pages with your PDF output - You can use the supplied master page and leave the topic css files to apply to the topics - You can use your own master page and link both your own css and book.css to it. With either of those options make sure your own css does not override what is in book.css. Right, Peter. For me and my test project, "No_Home_buttons", I found the ingredients here: C:\Users\daigl\Documents\My RoboHelp Projects\No_Home_buttons\publish\skins Warning though. SVG graphics are cool but not very friendly for viewing in File Explorer. Thanks to Amber and Peter for their enhancements. Deleting references to the images and selecting "none" as Amber suggests works for me and I find no clickable ghost links :-). I'm enroute to family holiday gatherings now, but here is a screenshot of what I think you want for Font color change should you elect to include Favorites and/or Filters in a different scheme. I changed all the Font color for all the buttons as a test (with magenta!) and it works for me. I think you're getting close, Martin. Try this. The idea is to delete the default button images in the template under the Skin Editor Home Page tab. For example: Open Home Page  > Buttons > button-icon (under button-1-applied) From the right, scroll down to the Background section > Image Path and delete the homepage-bookmarks.svg graphic,  homepage-bookmarks-applied.svg, etc. and continue for each Home Page default Image. Sorry if this seems elementary, but I'm trying to make sure I understand your use of the term "search widget".   Here is the Compass Travel Sample Project with its Frameless Skin Topic page.  After clicking on the Magnifying Icon at the top of the Frameless Skin you are presented this default Search Box.   The Search results (including any Microcontent Search results) will appear expanded below the Search box with the Topic page dimmed in the background. When you say "Search Widget", I take it you are referring to the Search Box Placeholder?   In this scenario, the results appear in a new window: If this is your scenario, I'm not aware of any other way to construct the Search Results Placeholder-generated page without custom coding the Frameless Skin Layout.  Let me know if I'm on the right track and we'll take another crack at this.  Meanwhile, do make sure you are generating your Microcontent Output Preset and add the Microcontent to the Table of Contents before you generate your Frameless Output Preset.  Lastly, I created a 5 minute video that shows some of the overall Microcontent workflow. Hi, RoboFan The TopNavigation Skin has recently been added to the Frameless Output Preset. This "minimalist" design recognizes that some authors choose not to include an Index because of the trending popularity of the Search function. TopNavigation does not use tabs or panels found in more traditional "tri-pane" skins. The purpose is to create a clean navigational option where all commands are at the top of the skin. Before I answer, you are using Rh 2019 Classic, right? Also what version of Captivate?  I think the buffering you are referring to in the Responsive HTML5 Layout Editor is a designation for a "Loading" image of the TOC and Topic content, but I'm not sure if it calculates for an unusually long Captivate simulation which is a separate object. For the Captivate side of things, you might take a look at the dialog below for setting a Preloader buffering property which looks like this: For slow bandwidth situations, you can intentionally preload long videos so that the end-user will start viewing when a certain percentage is downloaded so the viewer can avoid jerky delivery. Unless you have a fancy designated "streaming server" to deliver video, the download is going to vary according to the end user's connectivity. The answer to your #2 is that you pretty much have to switch to a Responsive Layout given the Flash end-of-life. Of course you would do well to set up a test on your actual server to see how it behaves under real circumstances. Let me know if I'm addressing your issue.
