Tnx 4 the tip but smudge isn't up to making the exact shape streak and liquify also distorts shapes in more direction than purely horizontal.

Hello, Im trying to create a similar pattern as in the attached image in illustrator that would repeat and the colors would be editable. I've setup guides based on a polygon/triangle shape but I cant seem to figure out how to create the transparent areas that mask the lines yet stay within an angle. Hi, I'm looking to create a similar texture/pattern in illustrator as depicted in the attached photo, it doesnt have to look like fabric just a 3D puff texture that has similar structure. Im thinking bevel & emboss or similar or a single 3D lattice then duplicate it. If there is a link to somehing similar in tutorial form I would be eternally grateful. Hello, I'm looking to create a thin line grunge effect as depicted on the attached image. The original comes from a piece of fabric (please disregard the folds). Hello, I'm looking to replicate the image below with different text, the original is made up of simple lines with a fill stacked evenly (all vector). Tnx Doug, I suppose that if I leave the fill white and the line black for example then the created shape will not be transparent and will not create a jumble of lines at the peaks? Additionally, I wonder if there is a raster way of working something similar but based on a photo in photoshop? Maybe a plugin? Thanks again
