I would like to animate some illustrations I will do on Illustrator and adding a hand drawing them and I'm struggling to find a good tutorial on Whiteboard animation. I found tons of bad tutorials on youtube and good ones here and there but these good ones always show how to animate drawings without showing how to animate the hand too. Same for the paid tutorials. I found several perfect tutorials but always limited to the drawings and I am struggling to find a tutorial to learn how to do whiteboard animation AND adding the hand animation too. I read tons of youtube comments where other advices how to do it but no one works, also I tried to figure it out by myself with no success. Free or paid it is the same, I need to find a really good tutorial to learn how to do this, since I need it for a client. If paid I would prefer one on Lynda.com

Glad to be one of those few designer that concern first about technical info then the design. Thank you for the links, I think I will comeback here to ask more questions in the case after finished the course Illustrator: Package Design started and interrupted almost at the beginning many months ago due to workload. Hence I carved in mind the utmost importance of technical info über alles. Same for your links and the other ones provided. One thing I'm having a hard time finding it are dimensions and best practices for cylinder labels

I have to say you thank you very much for letting me discover this awesome artist, his style is mesmerizing, I bloody love all those tiny beautiful details and the impact the image have overall at first glance. Hi SJRiegel, thank you for your prompt reply, I have a working knowledge on PS, AI, ID and I know a thing or two with AE, until now I did graphic design for web and print, from infographics to business card and flyers, from roll up banners to newsletters, free hand illustrations and very short comics. In short I have experience with print deliveries however until now I never designed a Label and Packaging generally speaking. What I would like to know is on the process overall and in particular how to begin from scratch, how many technical informations I saw it has to insert into the lable as well as the graphic design itself, where to get these inforamations, then advices on graphic designs for this type of label and so on. In the end I feel the need to study from A to Z ie as you wrote setup, layout, preparing for press. So I would need a solid really good course on fundamentals about labels on bottles. What you say it is right except for one thing : YOU CANNOT determine which artboard is the focus of the Navigator panel if it's not intended as an (single) artwork viewer every time. And that's my point, what I was looking for : determine which artboard is the focus WITHOUT display all the other ones. As you said one can move the zoom and quickly move from an artboard to another but in the end if I have more than one artboard the navigator panel will end up display all of them as I already said while I need to see only one, once again, only 1 artboard on the Navigator panel at time when I have more than one because I need to have a closer look of how banners/flyers/newsletters/infographics/whatever single artboards look like within the artboard area i.e. the final work I will export since it is too much distracting and it doesn't allow to focus on how the artboard/work to export really looks like when I also see what there is around. I also explained my point wit the example attachment, hope it helps. By the way looks like I spotted an Illustrator lack.

Thank you for the answer and apologies for the late reply : sadly I already use what you adviced me indeed it's like so that I am able to see the final banner aspect without what's outside the artboard. But again, as soon as there are more than one artboard, the more there are the more navigator window shrink them and it turns out useless. Looks like it is an Illustrator lack

Hi, I'd like to know please if there is a way to zoom in in navigation window on one single artboard when one has them more than one. If one tries to zoom with mountain buttons at the bottom it will zoom on Illustrator tab while I'd need it on the navigation window to fit the whole window with just one artboard just like it happens when one has only one artboard. I'd need to know this since to me it is a lot helpful display only visible object inside the artboard without the outside parts, so distracting to me, It helps a lot when I do banner sets and I am able to focus solely on the artboards without being distracting from the rest and I'll see how the final banner will look like but the more I add artboards the more artboards shrink and it's hard to see what's going on

While I fully agree with your answer actually I asked how to get that glow/neon effect since I noticed it is not just a glow effect applied to the stroke and what's the best way to apply textures on those cubes surface that follow thier isometric angle. Hi, I know to get these isometric plans, after rotated them in order to be isometric I set up a gradient with same color but one with 0% opacity however it is not so clear to me how to get the glow of that elements inside plans and I wanted to ask your help please. Morevover what's the best way to get those 3D cubes with that graphic applied on as texture that match their isomentric type of plan (I mean left, right and top)? Working on Win 7 and AI CC 2017

I can't answer to your question since I didn't do the website, it is a client's website, just sent an email to ask what email service he is using. I know PS and AI and I can create that with these softwares, problem is : what about document dimensions ? What about make it responsive ? It is enough doing just one pop up ? One size fits all? If not how many overlay/popip should I do ? How does it work ? What else should I know ? What are the popup best practices? I mean to design it not about the copy. So as you can see problem here it is not learning to use PS or AI but technical details, like knowing that one needs to choose CMYK for the print and RGB for the web for example. Hope that makes sense
