Sorry Amy, I'm just an ordinary user. I got the solution I told you from a post on the Adobe forum, and offhand, I don't even remember the guys name.I've received messages from Adobe staff to upgrade, and the r.h. tool bar is optional. But there again, I don't know what version # is most current. So, short answer, I dunno!Good luck. I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, version 15.008.20082. Is my version the most current? I'm not sure how but I have gotten rid of the tool bar. What I would like is for the page thumbnails to appear each time I open my PDF's. I know that if I go to view & click on them, they will be there the next time I open the document, but is there a way I can skip this step? thank you, Amy If the reply above answers your question, please take a moment to mark this answer as correct by visiting: https://forums.adobe.com/message/7924630#7924630 and clicking ‘Correct’ below the answer Replies to this message go to everyone subscribed to this thread, not directly to the person who posted the message.
