Hello Peter, thanks a lot, answer 1 seems to fix it, but the format doesn't matter... it's the same with png!!! Here the result of my word export test: With a text behind the <img> in tables work. A space isn't enough. This is only a problem in tables.

Hello community, in my word-export the svg graphics are missing. I found this post but that doesn't fix my problem. I created a test project and can reproduce the behavior. SVG graphics are missing, when they are in a table. Because I have some icon-explanation in my help and svg warning symbols, this is really a bad thing. Thank you. PS: I'm using RH 2019 14.0.4 and the latest Word version (2006 (build 13001.20384))

Thank you @smonga1996, That was the feature I was looking for. Unfortunatly at step 2.3 I'm not able to choose the .rhpj-file, because it is not displayed in the window and when I'm choosing the folder I got a message "Translation path must not be empty." (In german, because I'm using the german UI). Do you knwo what I'm doing wrong? I did upgrade the translated project to version 2020 before. Thank you.

Hello community,
I just installed RH 2020 and had a look in the translation capabilities.
The fact is that the translations are stored in a separate project. Up to now I also had a separate project for each language. Now I was wondering if there is a way to connect these existing projects for the new interface so that the existing translations are not lost.
Is there a possibility for this or what is the preferred procedure?

I found the solution for 5. : The heading was inside of the <a>-tag, that seems to be a problem in RH2019 new. I think I didn't have problems with that in the classic. wrong:

Thank you for your replies and sorry for the imprecision in the descriptions - I'm trying to make it clearer. Yes, the post-processing for this is not too complex, but you have to do it suddenly, whether it worked in the v2017 and I mean also in the versions before that. This is disappointing. Lists have always been difficult, which in my opinion is certainly due to Word and its handling of lists. I don't remember exactly how the mapping was in v2017, but in the end I didn't have to touch every list. Unfortunately, the lists don't look right either. I have a list with level 1 = numbered, level 2 = Triangle symbol and level 3 = hack: In the Word output, however, all levels are numbered. I try to say character styles from Robohelp aren't migrated to character styles in word. The styles in word are just/sometimes assigned as direct formating. In the Format Inspector of Word you can see that the style isn't a character style (in German "Zeichenformatvorlage" hopefully it's the correct translation), it's just a direct formating (Plus: 12 pt) which is even wrong, because my word template assigns another font and doesn't change the font size. With the minimum example (project, template, css), I created for testing, the assigning doesn't work anyhow: We can delete that point, means the same as 3. - sorry. This only occurs with some headings 2 that occur within a topic, but not always. The paragraphs with the correct style are on there, but the content is missing. The bookmark (<a>) doesn't seem to be the problem, that worked in the test project. Can't reproduce that atm. I will send you the test project, so hopefully you can reproduce and understand my problems. @erwin: thank you for your tips, I try not to give up with rh2019 new. I did give up over a year ago, but I gave it another chance about 4 months ago because it looked promising. Backporting to classic isn't a real option to me, before that I would rather layout the bad output cursing new by hand to get a usable printed version.

Hello,
I try to create a useable print-output. With RH2017 the word output was ok - that means when I generated it, all the paragraphs and character formatings were assigned to a style sheet. In that way I was able to format a bigger document pretty fast in a post-processing step.
For me it seems like the word output for RH2019 v11 (new) is far from that.
To give some examples:
The structure of my help TOC isn't used as expected -> books are ignored, all topics are on the same level. Only the structur from the content level is used.
I don't see any option to assign list styles and certainly no lists with several levels, which I use a lot.
Formating on span / character-format level, doesn't work. The formating is implemented as direct formatting, which get lost, when you edit the paragraph in the post-processing.
The styles are mixed with direct formating, that makes the post processing nearly impossible.
Some headings aren't in the output (no tags etc. added).
Does someone has similar or possitive experience with it? My CSS is a migrated one, probably that one reason, but when I tested it with a new project it seems to be a little bit better, but still looks like a horable word file.
I am curious about your experiences or am I perhaps doing something fundamentally wrong?

I just realized, that all topic with 2 condition tags (config_print, config_online, admin_print and admin_online) are never filtered in the TOC. The content is filtered "correct" (just on the topic level not on the content level, see topic "First Topic", it's obvios OR filter and gets crazy, when tags are set on topic level). Probably it was a missunderstanding - I need it working for dynamic filters, not for different outputs. I also created a test project were you can see the behaviour: The titles shows, how the topics are tagged. For example, how can it be that "config_online" is displayed although the filter "Print" is set. The topics "online" and "Configurator" are hidden, as expected. This looks to me, that the the filters are OR connected. I think "config_online" is displayed, because it is tagged with "Configurator" - the Plattform-tag doesn't have any effect on it. These topics are contained in the project and output: In the responsive output, the content filtering works, but in the toc the same behaviour (thats why I asked for the tagging in the toc): responsive output

Hello, I'm using the latest RH 2019 version and testing the frameless skin. I'm using the conditional tags pretty much. Unfortunatly I have to tag the complete TOC, too, right? Why isn't that inherited from the topics? But thats just a side question... When I generate my project as a responsive HTML5, the TOC is getting filtered correctly. When I'm creating a frameless output out of the same project with the equivalent presets, the TOC filtering is different. I have to groups for filters: Plattform ("online" and "on premises") and Role ("Admin", "Configurator", "View",...). In the responsive output the filter groups are AND connected. Is it possible that in the frameless TOC they are OR connected? Is that configurable? I hope you understand what I mean and maybe someone knows a solution for it? Thank you and regards Felix

HI, is there any solution by Adobe in the meanwhile? I just updated RH 2019 classic to 14.0.5 and still have the problem, that the ML-lists are not working. 1. I'm assigning my multi-level list format in the design view: it looks as defined in the css. 2. Changing to HTML view or close the topic and reopen it: formating is gone, as well in the output. My work-around procedure: I found out, that the problem is, that the class in the rh-list is getting overwritten when you change to the html view to something like "p-[your-paragraph-format-name]". That has to be the name of your multi-level list. So, before I create my output I start a search-and-replace: class="p-[style name of assigned paragraph level 1]" --> class="[name of multi-level-list]" class="p-[style name of assigned paragraph level 2]" --> class="[name of multi-level-list]" class="p-[style name of assigned paragraph level 3]" --> class="[name of multi-level-list]" Example: Your List "mylist" is defined as followed: lv1: assigned paragraph style -> "instruction" lv2: assigned paragraph style -> "interstep" lv3: assigned paragraph style -> "result" search-and-replace your project as followed: search for class="p-instruction" and replace it with class="mylist" search for class="p-interstep" and replace it with class="mylist" search for class="p-result" and replace it with class="mylist" I strongly recommend to test this with a backup, because this makes changes in many many places After that, everything looks as it should and I can start generating my output. As long as I don't touch the html view the formatting stays correct. I'm still looking for a solution, because for me the multi-level-list is a main feature and the work-around isn't that handy... Thanks, I also found that, but it does not work that well. The configuration in the editor does not work properly and I do not see a option to connect a format to a specific level (as it works in RH classic). I can choose different levels in the editor, but all changes I make (font, alignment, ...) effects all levels. If I try to use the format in the content (double-click on the template) nothing happens... Since the old multi-level RH-lists (<?rh-list>) in RH2019 are probably not compatible and I created about 75% of my content with that and furthermore today I also found out that a Word-export with RH2019 is also not possible, I'll change to RH2019 classic. Thanks for your efforts, I will give RH2019 another chance in half a year or so ...

Hello, in RH2017 I used multi-level list to structure the instructions with intermediate steps and interim result (1. Level: Instruction, 2. Level: intermediate step, 3. Level: interim result). In the css it was the element rh-list. After the migration to RH2019 that does not work anymore... Any ideas? In the default.css I just found one multi-level list (ol) but I didn't find any option to create my own multi-level list. Thanks for your help. Felix

Thank you for the really fast answer. The filter is just on tags. For example I added two screenshots to the content - one with the iOS and another with the windows menu. Both images are tagged and by the set filter then only one of the two graphics should be displayed. Is it possible to use the new features (git integraten etc.) with the RH2019 classic?

Hello everyone, I'm writing a HTML5-Help with filters and in RH2017 I defined a preselected filter, e.g. you have the filter option "iOS" and "Windows" and I defined activeted filter "Windows" by default. This worked with RH2017. After the upgrade to RH2019 I don't see the option to define a preselection of the filter. Is this option removed in RH2019 or do I just don't find it in the new UI?
