@Summayah5FC7 Do you mean how to convert an image to grayscale and apply the Overlay layer style? You can desaturate any image using Shift+Cmd+U or if you want more control, use the Black and White adjustment layer.

Unfortunately that most likely means some fraudulent registration key is still installed and we can't help with that. Inauthentic software bypasses the standard install locations/keys so no telling what it did. Sorry.

@AntonioTheAnt correct the limitation for generation is 2000 x 2000 px. However, newer versions of Photoshop and the betas have Generative Upscale which can upsize and preserve detail. https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/image-upscaler.html

@caitlinc2398960 Adobe Firefly does not recognize negative so saying "No Background" will give you a background. Try "White Background, no detail" or something similar

Hi @kylej51439937 what prompt are you attempting to use. Another thing that may be affecting the outcome is the lower shadow on the image. I know (and you do as well) that its most likely the toe on the other foot, but the AI may be mistaking it for something more suggestive... try erasing that part out.

@hannes_6466 if you had not deactivated your previous installs, the current activation serial number will no longer work. Adobe no longer supports CS5 and will not reset or deactivate installs.

Hi @Nikou65 First for the dialog warnings. Go to Photoshop Settings/ General and click "Reset All Warnings Dialogs" Second for your print issue - how large is the file itself? It may be exceeding print sizes. Otherwise if you hold the space bar down when you go to File/Print it will reset the print preferences. That may work.

@Marcella371813886v00 try choosing Crop Box as your option. Bounding box is going to show everything in your AI file including objects off the artboard.

@Marcella371813886v00 Check your Illustrator file by going to outline mode and see if there are actually objects in those areas that are showing when you place in Photoshop. Also how you place in Photoshop makes a difference. What settings are you choosing when placing the Smart Object?

The issue at hand right now is 75GB is not enough HD space so things are failing. You can try running that uninstall file first before trying to reinstall. At this point Id focus on getting the public release installed and running and avoid the beta with such limited resources. 75 GB may not be enough to complete an install altogether. Recommendations are at least 100 GB to account for the temp installer and the app itself.

@curt.gallery @Jordiboy many users are reporting doing a full uninstall and reinstall of the applications (not betas) has resolved any issues opening PS (or Illustrator).

Hi @christan_4789 try doing a preference reset when you start up. Hold Shift+Alt+Ctrl (win) or Shift+Opt+Cmd (mac) when you try to launch it should ask if you want to reset/remove preferences. Say yes.

@jetztistgut this is what is true : There is no means to activate anymore. When was the last time you installed and activated on your desktop? Have you been upgrading the OS and running the same installation of CS3 over the years? That would be the only case where CS3 would continue to work. If you were to uninstall on your desktop youd be in the same situation as your laptop. It cannot activate. CS3 is not supported and no one here can assist you with getting it to install properly on your laptop. It doesn't matter if you have the invoice, online keys or offline keys.

@yannick.o are you saying the issue is only happening on older files? Have you tried doing a save as and overwriting the old file? What version of PS are you running? For the zoom issue - check your settings/tool section to make sure "Enable Gestures" is on. If it's off (shown below) trackpad functions will be limited.

You can't - the reason it is switching is because your file size exceeds the limits of a standard PSD file type. PSB has the same functionality with better file compression/handling.
