Hello everyone. I'm experiencing an issue with Robohelp 2015 using the responsive HTML 5 layout. For audit purposes, all of the pages in our knowledge base are linked to MS Word documents. Unfortunately, changes to a document aren't being pushed to the RoboHelp generated output. If a page is deleted and re-linked, they work fine, but, due to the way we have our KB structured, it would take hours to do this. I hope there's a way around this. In my experience with RoboHelp, once an issue appears, it will likely become commonplace. Let me know if more information is needed and thanks in advance for the assistance.

I would also like to add that the topics are definitely placed inside the book as they are hidden until the book is opened.

Unfortunately, that's not the problem here. I wouldn't mind if only one could be opened. The book image changes as if it's being opened and closed; however, it does not hide the contents.

Apparently I'm doing something wrong. I added the code to the header of the master page and applied it to all topics, but the code does not show in the other topics.

What options are available for Robohelp 2015 (responsive HTML5) analytics/reporting and user feedback? Robohelp Server apparently isn't an option. I have considered Google Analytics, but judging by another post based on Robohelp 7, it wasn't a good option. I don't know if that has changed with Adobe's newest product, however. For user feedback, I have looked at embedding Wufoo feedback forms. They work, but it looks like I would need to create a separate form for each page. That would certainly turn into a major headache. I'm hoping Rh 2015 has these features built-in and I am somehow overlooking them. I doubt that is the case with the amount of research I have been doing, though. Any tips, tricks, and advice is greatly appreciated!

I figured it out. Rookie mistake. For anyone experiencing the same, click the drop down arrow next to "Link to:" and select web address. For some reason, Rh doesn't recognize that it is a web address unless you do this.

I am trying to create a topic that links to a webpage in Robohelp 2015 using the responsive HTML5 output; however, whenever I view the output and select the topic, I get the error listed below the TOC Page Properties screenshot. The link works if I paste it into a browser, though. Can anyone help me understand what I'm doing wrong? I often do this in Robohelp 10. Additional info: I want this webpage to be displayed without opening in a separate window. Thanks in advance for your help! Loved the white paper! It certainly gave me a much better understanding of Dynamic Content Filtering. So I could use context sensitive URLs as embedded hyperlinks on my landing page. That way, when a user clicks their role it will automatically filter the content for them. That would also give them the option of relaxing the filter in the event they need cross-departmental information, which saves them the trouble of having to navigate back to the landing page and then selecting another role. Am I on the right track here?

I'm using responsive html5. I think I may have figured out how to do it, but maybe you can tell me if this will work. In the responsive layout editor, I discovered where you can disable the TOC, so that solves one problem. Now, I need to make sure I can link to these other projects. If I have them all housed on the same internal server, I should be able to create hyperlinks to the individual projects, right? In theory, since I'm not using a master project, this would allow me to create different rules for each project. For example, one department KB would open with search as their first option and another could open with the TOC. Also, I am working on creating an HTML web page that has some interactive features, such as showing a different picture depending on which department heading the mouse is hovering over. Would I be able to use that code for the landing page in Robohelp? Thanks for the quick response, John!

I want to create a landing page in RoboHelp 2015 where the TOC is closed by default. I want the landing page (project) to serve as a master project and on the landing page have links to several other departments (projects). Once a user selects his/her department, the corresponding knowledge base project should open within the same window and with the TOC open.
