I stopped PSE, deleted the following directory: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport Then restarted PSE, and the Text Engine worked fine.

There's obviously a problem between the latest Windows 10 update and Photoshop Elements. My PC received the update, and I'm getting the Text Engine error message in Photoshop Elements. My laptop didn't receive the update yet, and Photoshop Elements is working fine. And Photoshop Elements was working fine on the PC the day before the update was installed. Something needs to be fixed by Adobe, or a workaround given. This is preventing me from getting my work done.
