I asked this question about a month back and still no answer, so trying again. Is there anyway to keep the 'Save', 'Save As', and other pop-up windows from opening in full screen mode with no capacity to resize? This is not at all convenient. We get some files from government agencies that are all numbers, and no clue as to content. We like to re-save them with a name that makes sense to use, but we even with two monitors, I'm not able to see the first page of the file and the save window at the same time. If I moving the file to the other monitor doesn't help as the 'Save' window moves to that monitor in full screen blocking the file. The one suggestion I received in the earlier post did not work. That was: Acrobat > edit > Preferences > General > Under the option of Messages from Adobe uncheck them Running all of the latest updates. Thanks, sorry for the late response. I have Acrobat Pro DC 2015 V 2015.010.20060. Fortunately, I was able to identify the original file that was in full, or part, showing-up in each and every one of those rogue files. I scanned if for mal/virus, but it was clean. Then I changed the file extension from dot pdf to dot xyz and haven't had the problem since.

Starting on Sunday, April 10, Acrobat files of 139,030 KB are being created every 4-5 minutes in the windows/temp directory. They are all of the same 1-page image of a file I haven't touched in several months. What gives? The files are all named PF####.pdf, where #### is a seeming random hexadecimal number (letters A-F plus digits 0-9). They are being created in the C:/windows/temp folder. Nope. Yatharth, anytime I go to try to open a file, either from hotkeys - CTL+O or or clicking file/open, the dialog window opens in full screen and although when the cursor hovers over the corner or border of that dialog window, I cannot resize via left click/hold and dragging. Maybe uninstall/re-install? Thanks, Jack

Running Acrobat Pro DC 2015.010.20059 on 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate with SP 1 and current with all essential updates. Go to save and the save window goes full screen and can't be resized. That is a real pain-in-the-neck and not a feature.

Why are 'Open', Save', 'SaveAs' windows in Acrobat DC full screen size? Can't adjust the size manually, it just will block the entire screen. Is this a reg-ed fix? Running Windoze 7 Ultimate V 6.1, builde 7601, SP 1. Thanks in advance for any help. Jack
