Hello, thanks for your answer. I’m using Acrobat on Windows 7. I’m a GE employee and I’m using a corporate version, I guess that the file menu is slightly different from the standard installation and I cannot see Check for updates option. I’ve already tried to re-install the software, through the GE repository, but the problem is still there. When I open a pdf file, the standard menu which I have on the top of the page is : When the problem occurs, the mouse pointer becomes a “sort of eraser” and if I pass it over the menu, the underneath icon disappears (see below how the bar looks if I go with the mouse over all the menu).
