Hello, thanks for your answer. I’m using Acrobat on Windows 7. I’m a GE employee and I’m using a corporate version, I guess that the file menu is slightly different from the standard installation and I cannot see Check for updates option. I’ve already tried to re-install the software, through the GE repository, but the problem is still there. When I open a pdf file, the standard menu which I have on the top of the page is : When the problem occurs, the mouse pointer becomes a “sort of eraser” and if I pass it over the menu, the underneath icon disappears (see below how the bar looks if I go with the mouse over all the menu). After this, no matter how many icons are present on the bar, the only way I’ve to exit is to kill the task from the task manager. Fabrizio

Hello, I'm not sure this is the right forum, but I cannot find any one which appears more suitable. I'm having problem with Acrobat X Pro. Everything works fine, but it randomly happens that the icons on the top menu bars disappears when I drag the mouse pointer over them. Once this thing starts I cannot use anymore Acrobat and the only way to restore it is to kill the program (End the task from the Windows task manager). Can anybody help ?
