I understand that. But that answer still doesn't address my question. I know I can access and open the PDF from all of those places. But I then need to take PDF docs that are in my document cloud and upload them into a third-party software. So, my question is - am I always going to have to download the file and save it locally to be able to do that, or is there a way to access my document cloud files from my File Explorer so I can upload them to other places?

Thanks! But I'm actually looking at a way to not have to download the file. I am wondering if DC documents reside locally somewhere or if I can get them to reside locally through Creative Cloud drive or the like, because I need to upload them into specific software when I'm done.

Hello! I need to get documents from my Document Cloud into my CMS software. Am I always going to have to download the document and save it locally to be able to do that or is there a way to access the document cloud from my desktop so I don't have the extra step? Thanks! DB

I guess I'm just used to Docusign's features. Their system works very well in this regard. Is there a place where I could go to find out what features Adobe Sign is working on implementing in the near future?

This is possible if you are using Adobe Sign through a web browser, but it is not possible if you are using the Adobe Sign app on your tablet or smartphone.

Just a heads up that this only works if you are using Adobe Sign through a web browser. It does NOT work if you are using the Adobe Sign App or if you have to replace your signers' email address after the file has been sent.

Is there anyway to easily replace or edit a document once it has been loaded into Adobe Sign but not actually signed by any of the parties? Occasionally clients will notice a mistake in the paperwork, it would be fantastic if they could mark-up the document and then sign. Or, alternatively, if they could hold off on signing and we could replace the incorrect pages with a revised file. As it is now, I have to completely cancel the document and then set it up again and resend it - which can be extremely time consuming and it frustrates my clients. And while I'm thinking of it, it would be great if there was a way to delete a single page in a document once it was loaded into Adobe Sign, like when I'm adding signature fields to the document and I realize it generated a blank page. If I could just delete that page from inside of Adobe Sign, that would save me the hassle of having to cancel all my work, make the change in Acrobat and start the process from the beginning. DB

The forms that I'm adding are long and at times tedious. It would be tremendously helpful if, when in the authoring section, you could "undo" something - like deleting a field or changing a participant. It would also be extremely helpful to have a "Save and Close" button. There are times when I need to come back to a document later and if I click off an open doc and go back to it, all of the tags are gone. I feel like there should at least be an auto-save feature. And while I'm thinking about it, it would be great if I could go back to the send page from the authoring page - sometimes I forget stuff and without this ability, I have to start the process all over. Unless I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find out how to make any of the above work.

The "Signer's Name" field is not an active field for the signer to interact with, so they won't see a box in the document for them to type in. It will auto-populate with the information that is entered at the time of filling out the actual Signature field.

Is there a way to override the default setting for how the date field is displayed? I always want it to be mm/dd/yyyy, but every time I add the date field I have to manually set it to be so in the properties. That's fine if I'm only adding the field once or twice, but most of my documents require me to do it 20-30 times. Is there a way to set a default for the date field that is tied to my account? Thanks!

If you double-click on the date field (to launch the properties window) and go to the appearance section, you should have the option to set the font size to auto. If it already is set to auto, I'm not sure what the issue would be.

Hello! I have recently switched over from Docusign and I'm having some frustrations with the Adobe Sign templates. I'm trying to create a template which will usually have 3 people sign: borrower, coborrower, loan officer. However, occasionally there is no coborrower's signature needed. Since Adobe Sign doesn't directly define the participant placeholder up front (instead, it just goes down the list of email addresses), is there any way to delete all of the fields associated with participant 2 on files where I don't need it?
