I am not an idiot. I am well aware of the difference between a support ticket an a forum. Thanks for the insult! Now Adobe is insulting their users in addition to ignoring the substance of a relevant question. God I hate what Adobe has become, a too big, too ignorant, too unresponsive monopoly trying everything they can to cash in on their users real creativity, including but not limited to surveillance and data mining, and forcing proprietary BS down consumers throats. It is only happening in this project with these clips there are other audio clips I could choose "Edit clip in Audition". Yes, I cannot edit this audio clip in Audition. The one I need to edit, the one in the image. My frustration deals with a multiplicity of software titles that Adobe seems to rush to market and the arrogant self serving behemoth that Adobe has become. This will be the last film our company uses Adobe Premiere with. Resolve 14 is far superior and Fairlight is built in for audio mastering.

I did uninstall and reinstall both applications and it did take a whopping 18 minutes, but some of us are working, and we do not appreciate paying $600/year for software that isn't adequately beta tested before going to market. We are working on a deadline and Adobe doesn't want to be bothered with staffing forum discussions. We are at a standstill, but Adobe is getting paid so why rush an answer?

Using the latest update for Premier CC. Using the latest Audition update 2017 11.0.0.99. Please tell me I do not have to uninstall and reinstall CC to compensate for Adobe yet once more.

How are we supposed to know what Ann Bens did? How do I upload an update to Audition 2018 if it doesn't exist in the apps? I am tired of fighting with Adobe programs, having to access tutorials and work around all of the ridiculous quirks.

How does Adobe, with any shred of dignity, expect users to know to click on the word "Opacity" to access "Blending Modes". Please have the brilliant engineers that devised this strategy email me and explain why that is such a "time saver" for users. Adobe, we just spent 45 minutes of our business day trying to access the most basic of functions of the Illustrator software. Adobe costs me $600/year, whether the software us helping us or hurting us.

Thank you for getting back to me. In all seriousness, users should not have to reach out on a forum to find out how to access one of the building blocks of graphic design. How to edit artwork using transparency and blending modes in Illustrator Nowhere on that page does it tell users how to access blending modes something that used to be a quick access tool on the bottom of the layers panel. Please tell the board of directors at Adobe how much your users hate these updates that dictate changes we have never asked for. The ones that make our lives miserable.

Brilliant people at Adobe. Thanks for changing our workspace and Illustrator environment without us wanting you to or requesting it at all. I really enjoy how Adobe makes "improvements" that prohibit workflow and confuse users for no reason. I for the life of me cannot figure out what your brilliant company does with all of the input you ask us for. None of that input ever seems to be put to use. But engineers can make decisions for me and bury the most useful commands in Illustrator in sub menu after sub menu. And Adobe doesn't bother to tell you where they have moved useful commands in their updates on their help pages. Our staff wastes more time inefficiently trying to work around "improvements" then actually providing any efficiency nor easing the use of the software. Blending modes are what I would consider critical commands within the software.

If you go to CC, on the right side of the window is a gear, press it. Go to preferences, click creative cloud, click fonts, and turn TypeKitoff. TypeKit is the inferior product forced upon users by the money grubbers on the board of directors that is hap hazzardly forced down the unwitting throats of everyone. Adobe typeset will bypass fonts loaded on your machines in an effort to sell, sell, sell you fonts that you already own and have loaded in your library on your system. Get rid of it, better yet don't download it al all. It's amazing that all of the Adobe "technical experts" couldn't guide you through the simple instructions I just gave you. Exemplifies why Adobe's monopoly should be broken up by the feds.

I cannot roundtrip an audio clip into Audition CC 2017 from Premiere CC 2017. The menu item is ghosted, making the option unavailable. Why can't we roundtrip audio clips the way we ALWAYS have been able to in every single other version of Adobe Premiere going back to CS3? I have no qualms about saying that it infuriates me that Premiere 2017 was rushed to market with so many bugs and beta testing has been forced upon us paying customers to endure without any re-compensation.
