PLEASE HELP! (PS Elements) Prior to a forced re-set, I had misc. info under every photo (e.g. DSC_0563-copy-copy) etc. Now all I have is the date. What can I do to get this info back to every photo? A reset had to be done, and after restoring the back-up, the info usually under each photo (PS Elements) e.g. jpg. 610 (#of photo) & date etc. is missing. I had to reload PSE, and it still is not there. How can I restore this info? Also, I am missing many tools under "Editor" that were always there. How do I restore all of them?

After doing a re-set, when backed up info was restored, the photo information that was under the photos, e.g. #of photo etc. etc. Without enough computer knowledge, how do I restore this information. Your help would be most appreciated. Yes I have metadata, but I still want this info.

GREG, Obviously I did not notice the "Reply" tab. Many thanks for your info - obviously I am not a computer guru or I would have known about Control-D. Thanks to you, I now have all my photos separated with the date underneath BUT, the other vital info e.g. (DSC_0532-copy 2-1) etc. etc. is missing. What do I have to do to recover this info and get it back under each photo? Thank you for your help - very much appreciated. After a re-set on my computer, my photos were not in the Organizer. I clicked on IMPORT MEDIA, and all photos were then back in Organizer, but without all the info under each photo, e.g. Date, Img. # etc. etc. Right now I have one photo after another without info, and not separated as individual photos.. What can I do to get this info back to each photo? (Yes, I can get info from Medadata, but I want the photos separated with appropriate info). Your help would be deeply appreciated. In PE, is there any way to "Shrink" a 5 x 7 or "Shrink up" a 4 x 6 and still retain 100% of the image without losing any edges?

I need to increase the size of 4 x 6 size photos for a book I am writing, but as we all know, going up to a 5 x 7 (Which is what I need), the edges are missing. Is there any way via PE that one can increase (Or reduce) the size of a photo without losing anything? In other words just making a miniature of the 4 x 6 or slightly increasing it - retaining 100% of the content. Trust me, I've tried everything I know. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Hi Mark, Sometimes when I make a stupid mistake I hate to admit it, but I have learned over the years that it's best I just admit it and get over it. hen I was trying to follow your instructions, I had the photo in Organizer", and not "EDITOR". Consequently the "Save for web" was obviously not available. Anyway, I now have found the "Save for Web", and did one photo and I still don't know what I did, but I dramatically reduced the size of a photo I used as a sample. So, Again thanks for your help and patience. I now know what to do, but I still need to play with it so that I know everything abut it. My best, and "THANKS! Dave David E. Mark.................. Due to other immediate priorities I was not able to apply your suggestion until now, but when I did, I was unable to find anything in FILE or EDIT that says: "Save for Web"... HI (again), I was not able to try to follow your instructions until now. SO, I went into FILE, but there is not anything that says "Save for web" or anything even near this. ???? BTW, I am using PS 13. Consequently I am unable to find "New Size" with the hope of reducing a photo from (let's ay) 7.5mb to 1.8mb etc. I hate to keep bothering you, but might you have another suggestion? How do you reduce the MB size of a photo? Like taking a photo that is 7.8mb and reducing it to 2.5mb.
