Hello, I don't know why is this happening, but any installed plugin load into Photoshop 2021 Even if the plugin's installer detect Photoshop 2021, it won't load it. I open Photoshop 2021 with administrator rights and any installed plugin is listed in the plugins window. I have verified the installation path, and everything seems to be okay, all plugins are installed in this path... C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\Plug-ins I see there the installation folders from Alien Skin and different makers, but the plugins are not listed inside Photoshop 2021 How may I solve this issue? By the way, I see at the bottom of this page a lot of threads and complains about the same issue. I have been reading some of these posts and happened the same to me, in one computer I was able to install Dreamweaver CC 2021 and in different computers I was not able, so this is not a connection issue, this is clearly an issue of the installer and I think Adobe should take action urgently with this, solving the installation issues.

Aha so you recommend me the following: 1. Download the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and delete/uninstall with the Dreamweaver CC 2021 2. Then, go to (1st path) /AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Dreamweaver{version} (in this case 2021) and delete that folder 3. Then, go to (2nd path) /Program Files(x86)/Common Files and inside delete everything about Dreamweaver CC 2021 Is that right? Hi Ben, thanks for your reply. Due I have three Adobe programs working fine Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign, I am a bit scared of deleting things without kwnoing in advance what I am doing. Please, could you tell me exactly what to do? Should I download the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and delete Dreamweaver CC 2021? and then should I delete some folders in the common files? but where exactly and what folders should I delete without damaging the other software I have installed and that is running good? Hello I am trying to install Dreamweaver CC 2021 October 2020 (version 21.0), when I run the set-up.exe file with administrator rights, it detects automatically the language, I select the default path then I press the blue button to continue and the installer is stucked at the 81%... This is very frustrating really. Searching in Google I have read people is experiencing similar problems and they say it is a permission issue that Adobe & Microsoft refuse to fix (in a timely manner), but no idea about what is this exactly. Some people recommend to run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, but they do not explain how should I run this tool and what should I do exactly when running it? Should I delete Dreamweaver CC 2021 with the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool or what? and then? reinstall it again? - The point of JPG to EPUB workflow is to produce a perfect EPUB. When dealing with pictures and text, not always is possible a perfect conversion (even if you select fixed layout). It could vary according the physical dimensions of the ebook device, and hence, you get errors. In simple publications the conversion could work fine (just as text books or books with a few pictures), in complex publications, the conversion from Indesign to EPUP, do not work (magazines or complex catalogs). The only way to make it works is rasterizing every page, there is no other way. - CC 2017 - Fixex, but it does not work either. - PDF is not okay for all platforms. Some ebook platforms demand EPUB or MOBI (Kindle). Personally I think that is living in the "cave age", however I do not impose the rules. Amazon love its MOBI, and we all have to follow the rules (even if we do not like them). - I did not know Flip Builder, however, Indesign CC 2017 does a fine job exporting the project to SWF, so the web integration is solved. - I know the different kind of formats, but even if an EPUB or MOBI is not so rich as a PDF, a perfect conversion is possible with the JPG to EPUB workflow (rasterizing). - I have tested several solutions based on that workflow and yesterday I got a perfect conversion. I got just a minor error in the cover (repeated two times, that I am on the way to solve it). - I know how to do all this, so I am sorry I do not need a freelance that makes an ebook for me my doubt is about the JPG to EPUB workflow and for that reason I was asking. Particularly I wanted to share with the community the problem in Indesign, explaining the conversion is not possible, just simply because Indesign do not offer a resterizing option for every page (just for the cover). Hence, we need the JPG to EPUB workflow, and then, we need to solve the problem, making a package of pictures in JPG and exporting them as an EPUB. If someone, knows any utilities that can get a bunch of JPG and create an EPUB, I would be grateful. Cheers

Just to add that I finally managed to export all the Indesign file to individual pages as JPG each one of them. I think now the key to success would be exporting those JPG to EPUB Also it can be possible to create a CBZ file from those JPG I can create a comic book format CBZ file, which basically is getting all the pictures inside a folder, being sure all the pictures are properly numbered page01.jpg, page02.jpg, page03.jpg and so on... Adding all the jpg files to a zip file Replacing the zip file extension as CBZ extension... And now yes, we have a CBZ compatible file. Comic book archive - Wikipedia The key now would be converting a CBZ to EPUB or directly those JPG to an EPUB... If someone knows an utility... I really would appreciate you tell me which one. I tried Calibre, but I don't like the final results. The EPUB lose quality. The solution would be Indesign add an option to rasterize every page... but sadly, Indesign do not add this option.

Hello, I've opened recently a thread in which I asked how to export an Indesign file to EPUB format. Due this question is related but different, I wanted to open a new thread to clarify concepts and to avoid we mix subjects. I was recommended in the last thread to follow a course about creating EPUBS, however, I know how to create EPUBS, the problem is I do not have time to create a new publication coming from the original Indesign file. I need a perfect export, and with the Indesign export methods, I do not get a perfect export. My Indesign file is exported perfectly to PDF, but to EPUB, no it does not work. Even if I chose Fixed Layout EPUB, it does not work either. The thing, is I do not need how to create an EPUB, because my problem is different. My problem is, I need a DIN A4, works fine in an iPad and also in a Kindle. In PDF format, my Indesign file works fine. I export my Indesign file to PDF, and I can see that PDF fine in my PC, in an iPad and also in a Kindle. However, if I export my Indesign file to EPUB, it does not work (even if I select fixed layout). What I need exactly is that when I export to EPUB, Indesign maintain the same behaviour I get with a PDF. What formats works fine when I export from Indesign? From Indesign to ----> PDF, it works fine. I get a perfect file exported. From Indesign to ----> SWF, it works fine. I get a perfect file exported. From Indesign to ----> EPUB, it does not work (even if I select fixed layout). Where is the problem here? Well, the problem is, that a Kindle read perfectly a PDF, however, if I export my Indesign file to EPUB it does not work. Also, if I change the document properties and I adapt it to EPUB, all the content (pictures, text frames, etc.) go away and I get a total madness. All changed. So to summarize the problem, this line of work is okay: Indesign ---> to PDF <---- Kindle (works fine, I can see the PDF fine in the Kindle) Indesign ---> to EPUB <---- Kindle (do not work, I cannot see the EPUB file in the Kindle, the export do not work, even if it is fixed layout). MAGIC SOFTWARE: 3D ISSUE There is a magic software that create perfect exports from PDF to EPUB, its name is 3D Issue. It must, because cost 400 bucks each copy. So I need to export an Indesign file to EPUB and I need it works fine. I cannot re-arrange all the project and start a new project just for EPUB. I need my actual Indesign file can be exported fine to an EPUB. Any solutions? I launch several questions: What about exporting every single page as a JPEG high quality 150 dpi and then I create an Ebook (EPUB) using JPEG pictures for every page? What about exporting from SWF to EPUB? Do you know any magic utility that works fine for this? Perhaps someone knows a magic utility (not so expensive as 3D Issue) that can export fine from PDF to EPUB? All ideas are welcome. Hello I have a doubt about how may I control the space that, by default, Indesign apply to the frames when I am creating a new frame and I press the arrow keys to select multiple rows and columns, hence creating new frames. I don't know if I am explaining this well. Let's take it with an example. I create a frame with the frame tool... so I click with the mouse and start to drag the frame I DO NOT REMOVE THE FINGER FROM THE MOUSE... And I press the arrow keys... now you see Indesign is creating files (up and down keys) or columns (left and right keys). When those frames are created, you see Indesign apply a space among them, which by default, has a measure in inches or millimiters. Well, I want to control that quantity of space among frames. How may I control this? If I did not explain this well, please, let me know and I will try again with a picture. Cheers

The plugins already have their folders, they are organized in their respective folders from the maker, however, every single project is different and need a different look. So everytime I have to work in a project, creating folders, moving presets, reorganizing everything, is not a good deal. The good thing would be, having the possibility to create my own categories inside Lightroom. The only possible solution I see to this, is already copying the presets inside Lightroom by selecting them, and then creating a new one based in the already selected plugin, and giving this new one a name. All this, with the presets I like, and for every project. However, I miss a different organization system to make the life easier to the user, specially when you deal with thousands of presets, which by the way is very common in Lightroom (websites are full of thousands of free presets, ready to download).

The problem with this is you must find the filters and create a specific folder copying and pasting files... well, it is possible but a bit complex... it would be great having the possibility to handle the presets with a classification system, as stars and that stuff. Also, creating folders, not physically in the hard drive, but just in the software, so I can have the possibility to copy stuff and organize on my own.

Really the designers of the interface removed the button because there is an empty space with 9 buttons? lol I don't know... I think the empty space is "acceptable", it is more intuitive having the buttons in front of you instead having to go to paragraph and show all the stuff. Well, just my opinion. Hello, I am a bit surprised. I see Indesign CC do not allow a text justification with the last line justified to the right. Why? I can justify with the last line to the left, to the center and nothing about the right side. Why? TIME magazine readers will understand what I mean. Sometimes we have a vertical black line emphasizing a text of 3 lines, for example, and if I have this block of text to the right, I would like to justify the whole text and the last line lie on the right side. I understand this is a question of tastes, but I see this more armonic. Do I have any way to achieve this effect? Cheers

Hi, when I am working in a project in Indesign, I first take all the pictures and move them to the Lab (that is how I call Lightroom), so I process them in the Develop module with my favourite presets. However I work intensively with this feature, and I apply 23 tests to the same picture for certain projects, so I get 23 different lookings for the same picture. That means I create 23 virtual copies of the same photograph and I apply them 23 different presets, I already selected from my collection of... how many? 500 presets? probably even more. Then, I select the picture I prefer from those 23. The problem is this takes me 2 hours or 1 hour of time, and I have my deadlines very compromised. I need to go faster, or the customer will kill me. Seriously, I tried to avoid this process but it is impossible. The final quality of the product is "science fiction". Outstanding. Lightroom is a jewell, so I cannot stop to use it. I need something I can select certain presets as favourites and apply them at once. Is this possible? or just a dream for Lightroom 7? Cheers

Hi, I have the latest one, Indesign CC 2017. I want to produce a FXL ePub (Fixed Layout EPUB). It is a very complex Indesign document. Exactly it is a magazine. To understand the complexity think in Newsweek, VOGUE or Time. I want the exported EPUB show the page perfectly, maintaining the vertical DIN A4 I think I am having problems also in the spreads, because the pages have pictures which go beyond of the physical dimensions of the DIN A4, and that is creating a strange EPUB file, when you open it you see very weird things, text out of control, going to next pages and pictures floating everywhere.

Yes, but don't work. Even if I export it as fixed layout, I get the text floating everywhere and without control. Specially the pages that do not work well are those in which a picture is outside of the physical dimensions of the page, specially spreads. The only page working fine is the cover, because it is rasterized... however I only see well the pictures... the text fly away to the next pages...

Hello, I really would need a bit of advice about how may I export a DIN A4 PDF document (a magazine) to EPUB. When I export it, I only get the cover perfectly exported. However, the text and the next pictures are floating everywhere without control. I would like all the pages maintain the original format of the PDF, and the original size of the PDF (Din A4). Hello I would like to export my Indesign document to PDF, however I would like this kind of effect: that the exported PDF, when opened it, the first page be shown as a single page and the next pages be shown as double pages. When I export my document, the PDF is created, and when I open it in Adobe Acrobat, if I select to show it showing two pages, what I get is this: I DO NOT WANT THIS: This is what is happening when I double click the exported PDF from Indesign. The first page on the left should not be there. I want the first page be on the right side, and the next pages shown in groups of two pages. WHAT I WANT IS THIS: This is exactly the beahvior I want when the PDF be exported. When I export my PDF file from Indesign, I would like Acrobat show it exactly, in this way. The composition of pages in my Indesign is exactly in this way (I am using PC by the way, and not MAC, I just took the photo to show you) I guess I should configure, probably the pages composition in Indesign in a different manner? perhaps? Hi Mohit, I've solved the problem. To fix the problem you need: 1. Uninstall Lightroom 2. DELETE DE FILE AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat Normally, the locations for this file are: WINDOWS 64 BITS ------------------------- - Go to: C:\Program files(x86)\common files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0\ WINDOWS 32 BITS ------------------------- - Go to: C:\Program files\common files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0\ Alternatively you can try to search this file in your computer hard disk. When found, please, delete it. 3. RESTART THE PC. 4. Install Lightroom 5. When the installation finish, please, apply the update. 6. Now the update process should work. By the way, I don't know why Adobe make things so complicated. Allegedly creative software is for creative people, dealing with folders and strange files is a royal pain seriously... Hello, When I am trying to update Lightroom I run the AdobePatchInstaller.exe and what I get is exactly this window. This is happening now, in the past, I remember I used the AdobePatchInstaller.exe and I didn't have problems. How may I get rid of this Window? Seems to be more people is having this problem... I found this blog explaining this... Adobe: Please contact your Administrator if you wish to apply updates on your machine. Updates have been suppressed by t… It says... Well, it turns out that there is a way to forcefully disable updates for Adobe products (CS5 and CS6 products anyway), and somehow it was enabled on my machine. The details are here. To fix it, just delete or rename the AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat file. I am a bit confused... How may I solve this? Deleting that file? Where is it on Windows 8.1 64 bits? I think I don't have the suggested folder... C:\Program files(x86)\common files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0\AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat ????? Where is AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat ? Cheers

JJMack I think you should read better my posts. I explained that my problem, exactly, is that, after installing Photoshop CC 2017 (due an error caused by my hard disk), the program finally was installed perfectly, but, for some reason, I do not see it listed, later on, in the Uninstall or Change Program Window. If it is not listed, you cannot select it, to uninstall it. And I explained this several times along my posts... First post: However... Photoshop CC 2017 was perfectly installed, I can access to it, I can use it... but... I don't see it listed in the program list from Windows. Second post: I ask because technically the program is not listed for uninstall... You know, and this is not about Adobe or Windows, some remarks are out of the scope. You said I should learn more about "Windows"... that is offensive... specially when someone is explaining the question detailed... you are an ignorant you don't know anything about Windows... I have found a solution. When you uninstall the previous version... 2015.5 the uninstall process do not delete everything, you continue having the Plug-Ins folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\Plug-ins And there you have all the plugins listed... Normally every maker put its plugins inside a folder... Alien Skin... all inside its folder... Google... all inside its folder... The only you have to do is to copy your plugins folder from... C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\Plug-ins to the new Photoshop CC 2017 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Plug-ins When you open Photoshop CC 2017, you will see how, again, your plugins are listed
