My page sizing is lost when converting either from Pages or Word for Mac to a pdf. I'm using Acrobat DC. Please advise.

I have created a document using Pages, word processing for the Macintosh, and have a page size of 6x9. When I convert or export this to a pdf file, that page sizing is lost. Please advise.
