Acrobat Reader DC Highlights Sometimes Hide Text

Question

I use the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC on Windows 7 Pro 64-bits to review scanned documents. I use the Highlight tool to mark text for revision. When I have completed my review, I open the Comment pane and navigate through the document by clicking on each comment in the Comment pane.

Occasionally, and without any indication of a problem, the I will click on a comment and the selected highlight color masks the text passage in the document. If I then click on the next comment in the Comment pane, the next highlighted passage is legible. I can then go back to the comment that was masked by the highlight color, and it too is legible.

This problem has occurred randomly in several documents over the past few months. I have never had to adjust the opacity of the highlight to make the text visible. In every case, selecting another comment, then going back to the masked comment makes the highlighted text legible.

Has anyone else experienced this? I think it should be documented as a bug and fixed.

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issuw while commenting on a pdf, is that correct?

Also, let us know dot version of reader installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version in reader: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
