Acrobat Reader DC is crashing when in Home view

First of all, thank you for reading this.

 

I have an end user who when he opens up Acrobat Reader DC it crashes.  However if he opens up a PDF it does not, until you go to the home view.  There is something about the home view that is crashing Reader, anyone have any insights on how to fix this?

Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please provide the following details :

 

1.Version of you Reader. Go to Help > About Acrobat Reader DC.

2. Did the issue started happening recently?

3. Please follow the instructions provided on this page for Dump collection : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.htmlThe dumps should be fairly be around 200MBs or more.Please share those crash dumps with us.

2.  The last 2 weeks

3.  What is the best way to share the dump?  I tried copy and paste and it crashed my browser.

Hi,

 

It looks like you are not on the latest version of Reader. Requesting you to please go to Help > Check for Updates.

 

We have made several fixes in the latest update. Please let us know in case you still observe the issue on the latest version.
