Acrobat Reader DC opens one pdf only. After double klicking another pdf nothing happens

We are sorry for the trouble. Would you mind sharing more information for a better understanding:

• Is this a behavior with a particular file or with all the PDF files?
• Are you on a personal network or shared network drive? What is the environment of the system?

Please try to Add the file and the folder path to Acrobat. Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Add file and Folder path  > Click OK  and see if that works.

For testing purpose, please try to turn off the protected view. Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Turn off the protected view and uncheck the Enhanced Security > Click OK and check

Note: Please turn ON the security after testing irrespective of the result.
