Adobe Acrobat Reader DC opens, but not showing the document on apple computer.

I do have a macbook air and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed, since yesterday the programs opens, but not showing the PDF document ...?!?!?

Any suggestions ....?

I cannot see anything, the program "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" opens, and shows up in the menu bar ,

however the pdf file is not opening and showing up.
