Adobe not showing up in taskbar thumbnail preview for Internet Explorer

I recently had to reset my Internet Explorer settings, so I'm not sure if this is an IE setting or an Adobe setting.  When I preview my Internet Explorer thumbnails through the taskbar, the Adobe documents do not display.  After I click on the thumbnail and bring up the PDF, then it will properly display the PDF preview in the taskbar thumbnail.  See below.
