Adobe reader 4 not working after lastest windows update

I use a old program which has Adobe 4.05 built in. After a lastest Windows updates on Windows 10 I'm now getting a portable document error. Program has to close. Is there any way around this?

    You might be able to extract the PDF and use an up to date Reader. Reader 4 was written for Windows 98, it's a miracle you've been able to keep it going so long. If you must run old software try and get hold of an old computer, freeze it, and keep it off the internet.
