Hello Legald,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader.

Are you trying to access the Adobe Sign service or Adobe Fill&Sign feature and getting this error message?

Try accessing the Document Cloud service through the URL on a browser like Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari and check Adobe Document Cloud

If you are getting this error message with the Adobe Reader desktop application, then reboot the machine once and repair Adobe Reader from help>Repair installation files (Assuming you are on Windows machine). Reboot the machine again.

You may also refer and try the suggestions from the help article How to resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications

For testing purpose, please disable any security software installed on the machine, restart Adobe Reader application and check.

Try changing the network environment once and connect the machine to a guest wireless network or a mobile hotspot and check.

If the issue persists, remove Adobe Reader using Acrobat cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
