Adobe Reader freezing since newest update

I have Windows 10 at home and Windows 10 Education at school.  On both, my Adobe Reader has become unusable.  I may get one thing open, I might be able to print one thing, but then nothing else will open and  I get the message that Adobe is not responding - do I want to wait or close the program.  The version installed here at school is 19.021.20061.  At home, when this happened, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but still having the same issue.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. I see that you have the latest patch installed for Adobe Reader.

Would like to confirm, if you still experience the same issue or Adobe Reader is running fine now?

In case its still not working, then we'd request you to try removing the application using cleaner tool once: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html and reinstall it: https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/

If that doesn't help, then create a hidden admin account on your system and run the application with the minimal services running at the background.

Thanks,

Akanchha
