    Hi Clarew93219607,

If the application is not launching, then please follow couple of steps to see if that helps.

I assume that you are using windows computer so first close all the Adobe instances,if running at the background.

    • Open task manager (right click on the task bar and click task manager)
    • Close all adobe services from background
    • Turn off Norton security (right click on norton and turn off-auto protect)
    • try launching the Adobe Reader again

If it still doesn't work, then-

    • Right click on the application and run as admin.
    • Or try repairing the installation of application following the help document- Can't open PDF

Let us know if that doesn't work.

    Regards,

    Akanchha

    Hi Clarew93219607,

If its still doesn't work, then I would recommend you to use cleaner tool to uninstall the existing version of Adobe Reader DC Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reinstall the latest version of Adobe Reader DC through- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

After reinstalling it, if it still doesn't work then please create another administrator account on computer and try launching the application there to see if that makes any difference.
