Windows 10 recently installed.
Not able to open any PDFs.

The page turns black and seems as though it will open, then gives me the error message of "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (103:103)

    Hi There,

Thanks for reaching out. As described above, you are not able to open the PDF file and getting error 103:103, correct?

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat/Reader installed on your computer? To check the version of the application please go to Help > Click, About Adobe Acrobat/Reader

Please check for any missing update and try updating the application to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

You may also try to turn off the protected view, Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat/Reader (Mac) > Preference > Enhanced security  > Turn off the protected view and uncheck the Enhanced security > Click OK and restart the application and check.

Note: Turning of the security is for testing purpose only, please turn on the security after testing, irrespective of the result.

If it works for you, please use the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/protected-mode-troubleshooting-reader.html

    If it still doesn't work

Let us know how it goes

    Regards,

    Amal
