I use Adobe Reader v 2019.012.

I "copied" some information from a different source and "pasted" it into a text box in  Adobie.  When I did a bunch of little rectangles showed up,  What do the rectangles mean?

How to get the letters to show up???? .

Thanks for your help,

    Hi there,

A asked by the expert above, for testing you may see what exactly happen when you perform the exact same task in other program.

It would help you identifying whether the issue with the copied content or it just not visible within Reader's text box.

Addition: you may also install the latest patch of application.

Acrobat and Reader official update (19.012.20035) is available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates or refer to DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

    Thanks,

    Akanchha

What can you see when you paste the information in a other program?
