Question

Coverting PDF to Word without changing text

I covert legal descriptions from scanned copies of Deeds. When I try to convert from PDF to a Word document it carries over many of the text but many of it is incorrect or it leaves lots of spaces in odd places. If there something I can do on either end to prevent this?

    Hi Jessicac27214743,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

It seems you are referring to converting the file without change in the format of the file.

The conversion of file in Acrobat generally does not make any changes to the actual format, however please try the following steps to ensure the format remains the same:

Open the document> OCR text recognition>Recognize text using OCR> Select all pages>Click Edit>Acrobat will give you Recognize text settings dialog box and select the options you want to use.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Supriya

I have the cheapest plan and may not have these options you are speaking of. It is currently sent to recognize text in English, which is correct. I have no way to select what you said.
