editable documents in Adobe Reader DC

I'm looking to create pdf letters with editable fields. Can I do that in Adobe reader DC.

The purpose is so that most of the letter is a locked template but some fields would be customizable.

You cannot do that using Acrobat Reader.

You have to use Acrobat Pro or InDesign
