    Hi anneb68112918,

Could you please let us know if you are trying to open your email account on Web (using a Web Browser)or in an application like Microsoft Outlook/ Thunderbird?

Which Web Browser you are using to download the document- Google Chrome/Mozilla Firefox/Edge/Internet Explorer?

    Awaiting your response.

I am opening my aol email on the web via Microsoft Edge. When I click on the attachment, no matter if it is a photo or document it now automatically opens in acrobat reader, no longer gives me an option. Up till a last week I was able to open/download any attachment so I believe I must have checked something that said always use this program just don't know how to undo it.

    Hi anneb68112918,

I am sorry for taking so long to respond.

Could you please try changing following setting in MS Edge and see if that helps?

1- Launch Edge>click three horizontal dots in the top-right corner of the screen>click Settings.

2- Scroll down the window and click View advanced settings.

3- Under Downloads>turn on "Ask me what to do with each download"

    Thanks,

    Shivam
