Empty space next to tabs

I have a large block of empty space next to my list of document tabs. When I click in the space it takes me to a gray window. How can I remove this space?

    HI willp,

    As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting empty space on the toolbar, is that correct?

    Try the troubleshooting steps suggested by a user at post#15 in the following forum thread and check if that helps:
