enabling thumbnails crashes ver019.010.20069

Hello, i hope you can give me a solution.

I searched the forum but didnot help me. A colleague of mine wanted to enable pdf thumbnail to his pc.His pc is a lenovo n14608 with windows 10.I enabled it and he told me to change view setting in windows explorer to big icons so he can see them larger.When i did that, only one folder(a copy of documents folder with enabled pdf thumbnail and big icons) crashed and closed the window  and threw me to desktop.Obviously i can not search and open pdf in that folder with large icons and thumbnail enabled.acrobat version is 2019.010.20069

Also  another pc with windows 7 same version of acrobat not enabling pdf thumbnail. Of course tried to check for updates with no luck.No updates were found.

Why is that happening?Downgrade to previous version will it help?I saw many people have this issue and is very frustrating.Thank you
