Files with more than 1000 comments with slowness

Apologies for the delay in response, I hope you would be able to fix it by now.

If the problem still persists, as stated above, file with more than 1000 comments is very slow to execute and edit, we need some more information for a better understanding:

• What is the application you are using to open PDF and the version? To check the version of the application please refer to the help article - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products​
• What is the OS and version?
• Is this a behavior with a particular file or with any file you try to open?
• Is the file locally available on the computer or is it on a network drive?

In the meantime, you may try the following steps:

• Update the application to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version available, please follow the link - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products​
• Repair installation (Windows only) Go to Help > Repair Installation.
• Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Reader(Mac) > Preferences > General > Uncheck show online storage when opening a file and show online storage when saving a file.
