Question

Fill & Sign field contents jump to another page or get lost

During the last couple of years I have often had occasion to use Acrobat Reader DC (on a netbook running Windows 10 all up to date) to open various forms and either fill in predefined fields and use Fill & Sign to just sign which generally works, or fill a few text fields and checkboxes and then sign, which is subject to filled items sometimes disappearing or jumping to another page (even if it is a one page document). It seems to help if I leave the zoom size unchanged. Even if the filled fields and signature appear to be in the right places and visible, when saved and printed out sometimes only the signature is visible.

Hi ph32028752,

It might be possible that this is happening because of Reader Extended Feature as mentioned in the above link. Could you please try steps suggested in the link below and see if that changes this behavior?

PDF Fillable Form -data in fields disappear

Reader will Not print info in fillable areas

Hi ph32028752,

Could you please let me know the dot version of Acrobat Reader running on the machine?

Launch Reader>click Help>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Would it be possible if you can share the sample form with us?

You can visit the following link, upload the file and create the link for the form:

https://cloud.acrobat.com/send

Once the link is created, share it via private message. To send a private message, hover the mouse over a user's name and click Message.

Thank You,

Shivam

Sorry, but if you can't even take the trouble to make the dot version in

About Acrobat Reader selectable for copy and paste, I can't be bothered

to type it in for you. It's hardly necessary since the problem affects

all updates for the last year or so.

Sorry, but the forms contain confidential personal data.
