What software are you referring to and what version of that software? What border? What are you trying to do and what is happening? More details make it easier to help.
when I scan into a pdf file how do I hide the border that surrounds what I have scanned. The boarder being export pdf, create pdf, edit pdf, comment. At the top it says home, tools, print, mail, zoom in zoom out. i dont want that around what I scan and email. confused and frustrated. help and thank you!
It sounds like you are talking about the tools that are built into Reader itself.
To get rid of the top menus, press your F9 key. To get rid of the sidebar tool, press your F8 key. To keep them that way for all pdf files, go to Edit>Preferences>Documents>Open settings and click "Remember current state of tools pane".
