How to Create/ Delete Views for 3D PDF on Adobe Reader?

Dear all,

I exported a Revit model to 3D PDF. I want to create Views, however in the View Panel the Create View and Delete View options are not clickable.

In order to create a View, I must add a comment which opens up a CommentView, then I delete the comment and rename the View. Unfortunately I cannot find any way to delete a View. However, any 3D comment under the View can be deleted.

Is there a way to allow me to create and delete views for 3D PDFs? I am using Adobe reader. Do I need Acrobat in order to do these commands?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi karloa46882829​,

Please be informed Adobe Reader is only a PDF viewer. You will require Acrobat application (Plans and pricing | Adobe Acrobat DC) to Create & Delete view from a 3D PDF file. 

See the screenshots below once I opened the 3D PDF in Acrobat application, I was able to use the requested feature:

Please be informed Adobe Reader is only a PDF viewer. You will require Acrobat application (Plans and pricing | Adobe Acrobat DC) to Create & Delete view from a 3D PDF file. 

See the screenshots below once I opened the 3D PDF in Acrobat application, I was able to use the requested feature:
