Html link doesn't open as pdf

I have Adobe Acrobat enabled in Chrome, but the html links I click on don't open as pdf. Everytime I click on a link, I get

Page Not Found

Sorry the page you are looking for is not available

( Error 404 . )

Also the Adobe icon in the toolbar is a sort of a light grey colour, as if not "live"

Any help appreciated.

    The Acrobat plugin is not longer compatible with Chrome. Right-click the link to the file, save it locally and then open it directly in the application.

    It is a bad idea to use spaces in file names.

    Hi Bernd,

    Here it is:

    The problem lies on the" click here" links.

    My work colleague opens all the links normally on his computer..
